Default Wow - are them fish counts real?

I am not from Alaska but a fish count of 700,000 to 800,000 for a river, thats unbelievable , surely if you went out fishing regular you could not draw a blank for the season.
Been a while since I have been on here and I like alot of the information, very interesting.
