Default Help with a New rod

Hello all, I have a question. I live in IL and do alot of river fishing I currently use TFO Lefty Kreh Professional Series 5wt and I love it. I am able to handle my large smallies and have tons of fun with panfish and creek chubs. I am looking to purchase TFO Lefty Kreh Professional Series...

The TFO Pro series is one of those rods that they just got it right. You won't have to worry about breaking the 2wt rod if you are set up right for the smaller fish. Use light tippets and if you can't handle a big fish the tippet will break before the rod.

You might also consider the St Croix Avid in a 7'9" 4 piece 3wt. A moderate action and very nice for your style of fishing. It is more money but I think you will like it.
