Fishing on the River Tees

The Salmon Atlas
Rises below Cross Fell in Pennines, flows eastward between Durham and Yorkshire and empties into North Sea near Middlesbrough. The Tees Barrage was completed in June 1995, and has already created a much cleaner river upstream. Fish are being caught throughout all previously tidal stretches, from the new Princess of Wales Bridge to Thornaby and above. Well stocked from Middleton in Teesdale down to Croft.
