Interesting pic of scale and would lean towards 4SW. Often got 3SW over the last 30 years and all fell within 21-42lbs with greater number of annuli than in Norwegian sample. What is interesting is the period of intense feeding/growth for scale under study is packed into a much shorter period than for smolt migrating from Southern European rivers - again supporting the 4SW estimate for the Norwegian scale reading.
