Lago Strobel (Jurassic Lake) - Fishing Opportunities!

The Jurassic lake (Lago Strobel) of Argentina is probably the most desirable stillwater trout fishery in the world. It offers monster fighting rainbows of unsurpassed quality and strength. This is adventure fishing in the deep ‘out-back’ of Patagonia and at a really market beating price too!

Your Guide:

Juan Manuel Biott (patagoniaaustralff on FFF) is a resident and professional guide on the Rio Gallegos and surrounding area and has recently started his own tourism business: Patagonia Austral Fly Fishing. Juan has guided professionally for several years and knows the area and where the fish are extremely well! Normally only small groups of up to 3 persons are catered for keeping personal service high but prices low. (Contact Juan by pm if a bigger group is required).



The program:
  • 1st day: 7am departure from Rio Gallegos to the Lake. Arrival 3pm. The rest of the day fishing.
  • 2nd day: Fishing Jurassic Lake - different bays.
  • 3rd day: Fishing Jurassic Lake - different bays.
  • 4th day: Fishing in the morning, back to the city after lunch.

Includes:
Full board accommodation (meals and lodging in the lake). Not included: Fishing license or tackle. Hotels in the city if the flight times don’t fit well.

Prices:
From 7,600 to 10,000 Argentinian Pesos (ARS) per person – (Exchange rate around (variable) 7.7 ARS to 1 GBP)
