River Fowey salmon season just closed. Pretty wet these last 3 months but a reasonable tally on the stretch at Rivermead Farm Cottages & Fishery for those who braved the weather: 4 Salmon (9lb, 5lb, 2 @1lb); 17 Sea Trout (6lb, 4lb, 3lb, 2@ 2lb, rest ~1lb), 64 Brown Trout ~1lb. River Fowey open again 1st April. Check the webcam for current conditions or phone us for an update 01208 821 464.
