Last week Rynda camp welcomed our six old friends from France, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Russia.

The photos can’t reflect the tough conditions which fishermen faced during the week.
The air and water temperature were not far from 0C. By the end of the week the water temp finally reached 4C. The strong northern wind with sleet and hailstone were regularly testing the fishing spirit of our anglers.

Water level wise the week was ok. The peak of the flood this spring was on May 23rd. And after that day the level was constantly dropping. And very soon the level became quite comfortable for fishing most of the pools at the low part of the river.

The very low water temp and the cold weather were the challenging factors. But our anglers were not rushing into the lodge and spent many hours hunting for the fresh salmon.

The Snealda, Willie Gunns Variant were working well.
Vyacheslav, Anthony and their guide Jenya were a cheerful, motivated and hard-working team!

Congratulations to Anthony with his wonderful 20-pounder out of Sea Pool.

Vincent who had lost several fish then continued working hard and finally got his fresh salmon!

Neil and Roger, the craziest fishing team of this week, fished for 12-15 hours every day.

Congrats Neil with his solid fresh fish!

Thank you all,
Rynda team.
