The Strengur Fishing Club has leased the Selá river for many years and we have worked with great success to enhance the spawning stock. As a result the yearly catches have greatly increased and the Selá now offers some of the very best fishing that Iceland can provide.

Openings to fish the river Selá are also very rare but a few remaining slots in this year’s programme for the Selá remain unfilled.

The spots still available for the Hofsá in 2010 are:
August 26 – September 4

The spots still available for the Selá in 2010 are:
August 15 – 19 and September 1 – 4
