Hi

Be interesting to hear about the Tyne's sea trout runs this year, have not heard of many being caught, than the usual amounts gone by, some say this is why the Riding Mill fish counter numbers...

Cold and Frustrating day on the Tyne

October 20th, damn cold wind blowing, raining, plenty fish getting hooked but nothing landed, Kielder releasing water, plenty of anglers out, but very hard work, c'mon rain gods give us a cracking...

37lb Salmon Caught

Reports say that a cock salmon weighing approx 37lb was caught from the North Tyne on fly, the fish being coloured was returned.
Quite a biggun :eek:
