My last trip to Laerdal was many years agao, at the suggestion of the late Roy Brooks. In the local hotel I met Dickie Freemantle, who I think has been fishing in Russia since, in the Kola peninsula.
Let us hope that it will not take the fishing authorities as long to clean up the Laerdal as it did for reinstating the Rauma and all its tributaries.
