We like to welcome international teams at Rynda. In such a week we can enjoy a great mix of different traditions, characters, even fishing styles. This is exactly what happened this week – Russia, England, Ireland and France joined for fishing.
The weather was still cold and cloudy here on the northern coast. Water temperature was around 10-11C for the whole week.
For a couple of first two days fishing was rather tricky with 10 fish per day. Form Monday fishing started getting better and better. Tuesday and Wednesday gifted a very good fishing. A few decent fish were caught at the middle beats by Paul.
Zolotaya was again giving unforgettable experience. David and Sean were camping over the night and came back to Rynda with the wonderful result of hooking 20, landing and releasing 11 fish.
Special congrats to Gennady who caught 30 salmon for the week, spending most of the evenings fishing after dinner.
The flies we successfully used: Sunray Hitched, Silver Doctor, Golden Killer, Willy Gun, Cascade.
After all good story, we had a very special event! Our dear friend David, who is fishing with us more than 10 years, was solemnly awarded with an ASR veteran ring.
