What is in store for 2016? We all have high hopes!
Our 2015 season here at the Norwegian Flyfishers Club has come and gone, and ended up as a major improvement over the last few years. Our total catches increased dramatically compared to the past two seasons and we are proud to say that our catch and release quote was more than 95%!
The total catch of the Gaula in season 2015 has been registered with approximately 25 tons of salmon, which is a great improvement compared to the previous two seasons (14 to 16 tons). The average weight of Gaula salmon in 2015 was 5,6 kg. A strong average size- as we experienced a strong run of medium-sized fish this year.
