I have a question about the above.
I am very interested in the fact that Simon G has been using a Single Handed Spey Cast a lot more and is the fouc of his latest book. I have been using a Single Spey also when wading up heavily wooded rivers and fishing wet fly.
My query is at what point and in what circumstances does Team Speycast feel that it is better to move from a Single Handed Speycast to using a Double Handed Cast, principally for Salmon
I used to have an 11ft 3" Daiwa rated #7-9 which had a 6" extension handle and am beginning to regret parting with it!
I was using that rod for both Single and Double Handed Spey Casting.
