I have fished the Phillips, Orford and Toba rivers, all unnamed here...how do we add them to the atlas?

Many thanks woodcock for your post, this what the Salmon Atlas team were wanting, people like yourself to post comments like this, we know there will be many rivers missing, but at first we concentrated on the most popular rivers, I will contact you in due course to, if ok by you and we shall add them to the map. 
Ocean going ships call at Sacramento, and Stockton. Both over 100 miles from the ocean.As far as what else is out there, Use Google Earth and follow the rivers.Don't forget the Colorado.A windmill boat uses a windmill to spin a water propeller. They can sail directly into the wind. So in this case, if we use the river as the frame of reference, the windmill boat is sailing normally relative to the river and sail down river faster than the river. The speed will be no more than about half the speed of the river. So from the shoreline frame of reference, the windmill boat will be seen to sail down river at the speed of the river plus roughly half the speed of the river.
