With the high tides fish have been seen running at night on the lower river, mainly seatrout that is too be expected. These fish will make their way up stream, perhaps slower than normal considering the water levels. Reports of seatrout being landed on the lower river this week confirm numbers are starting to build. Middle and upper reaches should expect numbers to arrive in the next week or two, what is present is big and silver and excellent sport. Top tip. Keep it moving in low water.
