Long belly spey lines

I'm going to get a long belly spey line before the ice goes out in the spring. What are your favorite long belly lines? I have a 15' Meiser Clearwater 8/9 wt. I plan to use with it. Thanks, Dan.

Is that a true 8/9 weight or is it designed for XLTs or something else grossly over weight.
I had a Meiser 16 ft 7,8,9 and the Carron 10/11 85 foot head fairly flew out great combination.

It is a true 8/9 weight. I started off with a 9/10 weight Airflo tactical spey, and it seems to be just a tad heavy. It works best with the marker about 3 - 4 feet inside the rod. Dan

Ask Meiser, but I would sugest the Carron 9/10 65ft head would work well.

New plan. I had Thomas and Thomas roll me 17' 11wt blank. I got the 95' head Carron. I plan to hit Canada with a fly.
