Join us as we take to the water to tackle single use pollution in the river Dee for another year!
Welsh Dee Trust are organising free regular clean ups along the Dee to help keep the river clear of plastic and other rubbish. Despite the work us, our volunteers and other organisations have been doing on the riverbank, it’s impossible to reach some pollution trapped at the waterline or floating on the water. That’s why we are running some stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) river cleans.
Sessions at Sandy Lane and Eccleston are suitable for beginners, and Paddleboards, Personal Flotation Devices, and clean-up equipment will be provided. If you have your own paddleboarding equipment you are welcome to bring it, however it will be checked by the instructor to ensure it is safe.
By clicking on the ‘register here’ button, this will take you to the sign up page that also has more information about the event.
