The first salmon of the 2010 season in Ireland was caught at 1.15pm on the River Drowes on January 1 by Enniskillen angler Brian McEvoy. The 10lbs fish was taken on a yellow belly devon minnow from the Two Islands Pool below the Four Masters Bridge.
