Several fish seen coming in off the tide on the lower river, mainly seatrout but some big fish showing. The rain last week moved a few nice fish up river, although the level only came up by 5 inches but combinded with big tides got the fish going. Reports of liced fish between 4 - 6lb have been providing some good sport on the lower and middle river. Chris Brown enjoyed some good sport last week losing 4 nice seatrout and landing a 3.5lber. Still not alot of news re salmon, we need a decent rise in water, it has been raining for most of the day with more forecast which will help. I have had reports of numbers of fish showing in the estuary and bay, this often the case when we experience low river flows during the season. Top tip. Don't go away during June. Tight lines.
