We have worked tirelessly this year to overcome the biggest current threat to wild fish: apathy. By building on our ambitious tracking projects on both the East and West Coasts of Scotland, and the momentum gathering behind the Missing Salmon Alliance – not to forget the success at COP 26 by highlighting wild Atlantic salmon as an ecosystems indicator species – we are starting to build a better future for our iconic species.
Together, we must strive to ensure that they will have the opportunity to thrive in cold, clean water for generations to come.
We would like to especially thank our supporters for their ongoing support and for putting wild salmon first in 2021. Every single one of you has played your part in helping to raise awareness of the threats that wild salmon face. We are hugely grateful for your support, in whatever shape it has taken, from every donation, auction bid, like/share of our awareness videos, or email to the team – it is all appreciated!
It has become clearer more than ever, that only by working together, we can succeed in making important strides forward to better protect our salmon.
